Unit manager employment in care and nursing homes

Unit Manager vacancies will often require a candidate who is a qualified Nurse with full registration on the NMC but also has some management, supervisory or leadership experience.

As a Unit Manager you are generally required to run a unit which can cater for any type of client whether it be elderly, EMI, ABI or mental health.

Unit Managers general work day shifts and also tend to work long days. Although, they may often work one 8 hour day a week for paper work and management duties.
