Care home management employment opportunities

Care or Residential Home Manager vacancies require a candidate who has a strong background in care home management in residential care homes. As a Care Home Manager you will need a management qualification such as NVQ Level 4, the Registered Managers Award or the QCF Level 5. Ideally you will have 1 or more of these qualifications.

As a Care Home Manager you will be registered on CQC as the Home Manager and the smooth running of the home will be directly your responsibility.

You will manage the home day to day and make sure the home is working towards national minimum care standards and CQC regulations and requirements.

Care Home Managers tend to work Monday – Friday, however, you will be expected to work some weekends to make sure the weekend staff work as well as the week day staff.
