Deputy Home Manager Jobs
Deputy home manager recruitment vacancies
Deputy Home Manager vacancies will often require a candidate who is a qualified Nurse with full registration on the NMC but also has some management, supervisory or leadership experience. As a Deputy Manager you may also need an extra qualification rather than just experience such as NVQ Level 4, the Registered Managers Award or the QCF Level 5.
As a Deputy Manager you are generally required to help run the whole nursing home and step up as the Home Manager in the absence of the home manager.
You will generally manage the rota for the nursing home and the other staff nurses and unit managers would report into you.
Deputy Managers general work day shifts and also tend to work long days. Although, they may often work one 8 hour day a week for paper work and management duties. Some larger homes can offer Monday – Friday Deputy Home Manager posts, although these are quite rare and flexibility is still essential on your working hours.
To be considered for any of our Deputy Manager jobs we would need a copy of your CV and for you to hold full registration on the NMC and have some good leadership experience previously and / or a management qualification.
